Welcome to What-Knot Crafts

Knotting montage

Welcome to my website, where I will show you what I make from my knotting and rope craft hobby.

I enjoy making items from cord and rope, which I then sell from my craft stall. My wife Margaret and I can be found at various events in the west of the Isle of Wight and regularly on Sundays at Freshwater Bay, outside the Lifeboat Station.

By doing this we help to support the Freshwater Independent Lifeboat funds.

You can visit my portfolio pages, which show the various items I make, which are all made on the island, or why not come along to see the stall at different events this year.

I also host an annual knotting exhibition in Freshwater Library, where I display a wide variety of named knots and various items that I think may be of interest.
